This 2-hour online (zoom) module predominately covers safeguarding children in bowls and is ideal to help support club volunteers and club safeguarding officers with basic safeguarding knowledge.
Safeguarding Bowls has developed a range of templates and useful documents for clubs with guidance on how to recruit personnel safely and details of local groups who can provide support at Club, County and National level.
The course raises awareness of the basics of safeguarding and how club members can support their clubs in this vital area
This module is the forerunner to our “Time to Listen” module.
