The only Nationally Recognised Qualification for the sport of Bowls in England, wholly supported by Bowls England, EIBA Ltd and with contributions from BCGBA and ESMBA. The knowledge gained from this qualification will ensure coaches have developed an understanding of safe, ethical, and effective bowls coaching. It also enables coaches (who are aged over 18) to deliver pre-prepared sessions provided by Coach Bowls.

You will receive an email with a zoom link with guidance and instructions once you have booked and paid for your course.
Zoom Session 1 Online Monday 16th January 2023 - 6.00pm - 9.00pm
Zoom Session 2 Online: Monday 23rd January 2023 - 5.30pm - 8.30pm
Sunday 29th January 2023 - 9am - 5pm
Sunday 19th March 2023 - 9am - 5pm
Any current Level 1 coach or above from all current accreditation schemes
Any Level 2 coach from another sport who also has a background in Bowls can also apply for Recognition of Prior Learning to be eligible
To make the most of your course experience, it is important that you understand that, in registering for a course, you are committing to a set of standards and behaviours to ensure you achieve your qualification and experience a positive learning environment. Please refer to the ‘Learner Contract’ document which accompanies the course booking email. Your course tutor will ask you to sign a statement during your course to confirm your commitment to achieving the qualification. To ensure smooth running of the course and that all course content is covered, please allow sufficient time to arrive / log on to the course ahead of the start time, taking into account any traffic disruptions for practical days. We appreciate that incidents and accidents will occur which may disrupt your journey, however to ensure you and all the other learners achieve a positive learning experience, anyone later than 30 minutes will not be able to complete the qualification. If you are running late, please contact the office on the number above so that we can inform the course tutor(s). If you are experiencing any difficulty and are unable to attend, please contact email@example.com informing Coach Bowls of the situation immediately.
In order to remain COVID-19 safe and ensure everyone remains safe, all candidates and Tutors are requested to complete a free Lateral Flow test on the morning of their practical course (before leaving home and obtain the result no later than 8am on the day). and only attend if safe to do so. In the event of a positive result you should contact 07458 301497 so that we can inform the tutor and rearrange your practical day. In the event of a tutor testing positive and Coach Bowls being unable to source an emergency tutor, we will contact you as soon as we are able.
Please note our office hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. If you are experiencing an issue with your course and your course is taking place during office hours, please contact 07458 301497 so that we can assist you. If your course is taking place on a weekend are you are experiencing an issue, please contact us and leave a message and we will call you back. The out of office hours number will only be available on weekends to deal with course issues only for courses taking place on the same weekend. For all other enquiries, please contact the office during working hours.
If you cancel within 7 days or fail to attend the course without good reason (at the sole discretion of Coach Bowls), the full fee will apply.
If you cancel within 14 days of the qualification then 50% of cost will be returned to you
