Safeguarding: Time to Listen
This NSPCC developed module is designed for Club Welfare/Safeguarding Officers, this module predominately covers safeguarding children in bowls and is an extension to the Basic Safeguarding Children and Young People module. It builds on the information that Club Welfare / Safeguarding Officers need and helps support them in their role. It is helpful if you have taken the Basic module first.
Course Overview:
You have a vital role as the Club Safeguarding/Welfare Officer in supporting your club to achieve their safeguarding aims and this module helps with that role. If your club has children as members, or you intend to work with schoolchildren in taster sessions, this module is a must. Your club open day is likely to have children visiting, so be confident that you have practises in place in order to keep them safe.
